Dessert lovers, here’s a doubly sweet treat for you! Ben & Jerry’s recently launched two new ice surf flavours, Chewy Gooey Cookie and Dublin Mudslide, which are packed full of indulgent, linty goodness.
On top of that, to gloat the launch, Ben & Jerry’s moreover partnered with local bakery, Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery, to create three inspired sourbombe donuts that are only misogynist for a limited period of time.
Ice Surf Flavours
The first flavour, Chewy Gooey Cookie, features a rich coconut ice surf wiring swirled with melty fudge flakes, shortbread cookie chunks and caramel. While the refreshing coconut flavour takes centre stage, the spare elements mentioned whilom add some texture to each bite.
The other new flavour, Dublin Mudslide, may satisfy swig lovers with its inclusion of Irish Cream. Apart from the surf liquer, the ice surf contains double chocolate tweedle cookies and coffee fudge. Perfect for movie nights!
At the media preview, the team from Ben & Jerry’s shared that the ice creams were ripened out of their “flavour junkyard” (old flavours that were customers’ favourites). Dublin Mudslide was created as a revamped version of the original Mudslide, now featuring whey Irish liqueur.
Ben & Jerry’s x Sourbombe Collab (Set of 3)
Three heady donuts were created by Ben & Jerry’s and Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery to complement the two new ice surf flavours. Genevieve, the founder of Sourbombe Artisanall Bakery, shared that the partnership was extremely heady as both brands share a love for innovation.
Brûlée Hooray
The Brûlée Hooray donut was ripened in the spirit of Ben & Jerry’s fun flavours. Apart from a archetype stuffing of whipped vanilla stone custard, the donut is topped off with crystal sweet caramel.
The caramel topping is created by hand-dipping half of the donut thoughtfully into humid hot caramel, surpassing letting it cool. The finished product resembles that of the top layer of crème brûlée as it is nonflexible and crunchy.
Due to the strict curation of Tahitian vanilla pods for the filling, the custard tastes fragrant and deliciously creamy.
Gooey Glory
Inspired by the Chewy Gooey Cookie ice surf flavour, this donut is filled with a chocolatey mousse and topped with coconut caramel glaze, a sprinkle of sea salt flakes and velvety shortbread cookies.
According to Genevieve (the founder of Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery), the shortbread topping is the signature finishing touch to most of their donuts and staff are held to strict standards when piping and subtracting the cookies!
Dublin’ Down
Inspired by Dublin Mudslide, this donut is a little boozy treat that’s oozing with flavour. The filling is rich and creamy, with hints of coffee-kahlua. With a visionless chocolate glaze and sprinklings of hazelnut to finish, swig and chocolate lovers unwrinkled would love this!

As these are limited edition flavours, pre-orders are encouraged and can be washed-up via the Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery website.
