To gloat HSBC Women’s World Championship, HSBC Singapore announces a special tournament collaboration with local jewellery brand, RISIS. The partners co-creates HSBC Orchid designed necklace for this year’s winner, incorporating 15 pearls to mark the 15th year-end of the tournament this year.

Each player competing in this year’s tournament, taking place at Sentosa Golf Club between 2-5 March, as part of the LPGA, received a participation slider necklace. The pieces have been inspired by the specially created HSBC orchid, the Papilionanda Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank, vicarious by NParks to mark HSBC’s contributions towards biodiversity and conservation in Singapore.

Shanya Amarasuriya, Creative Director of BP de Silva Group, led a team of designers to diamond the sectional necklaces which were unveiled and worn by an variety of golfing stars, all on show at ‘Asia’s Major’ this week, at a triumph event at the COMO Dempsey.

Attendees included world number 2 Nelly Korda, world number 7 Brooke Henderson, slantingly Chinese star Shanshan Feng and Singapore’s homegrown talent Amanda Tan – an example of HSBC’s support of women’s golf at youth levels through to the professional ranks. Michelle Wie, the 2018 champion in Singapore, modelled the new winner’s necklace for guests in attendance.
